OUR LOGO AND ITS MEANING
Our LOGO in red over white comprises a perforated corner graphically depicting four stamps placed together as viewed under a round magnifier. It symbolizes the togetherness and unity of stamp collectors and philatelic societies under one family in Singapore. The significance of the various components that make up the logo is explained below:
1 The red and white colours of the logo are Singapore’s national colours representing ASP’s national identity
2 The overall shape of the logo is round signifying unity and togetherness
3 The "four stamps" denotes the four main components of membership of ASP, i.e. Ordinary members, Institutional members, Honorary members and Associate members
(The logo was designed by Mr Lim Sa Bee, our founder member and the first Secretary from 1989 to 1998)
